The victim in yesterday’s homicide on St. Joe’s Avenue in Trenton has been identified as David Johnson, 39, of Trenton, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office.
At approximately 5:25 p.m. on Wednesday, Trenton police received a Shot Spotter activation for the 300 block of St. Joe’s Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found Johnson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center and pronounced dead a short time later.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
